For all RAID testing a standard PC will be used with the following specifications:
- Intel Celeron 500 MHz
- Intel 810 Motherboard
- 128 MB PC133 RAM
- Maxtor 10 GB ATA66 5400 RPM hdd on Primary Master
- LG 32X ATA33 CD-ROM on Secondary Master
- D-Link 10/100 PCI Network Adapter Full Duplex
- Windows 2000 Professional with SP1
Testing is done with the following benchmarks:
- eTesting Labs WinBench 99 1.2
- TestaCD Labs HD Tach 2.61
- Intel IO Meter Beta 1999-10-20 using Storage Review’s testing methodology
